The Jurassic World Thrash ‘n Throw Tyrannosaurus Rex comes complete with sound effects (roaring, chomping and stomping) and some really cool moves.  By moving its tail, it can bite and throw another toy figure.  Seriously, how cool is that?

Schleich makes some really cool and detailed toys.  Known for their durability, my kids just loved the shark toys from the Schleich line and the dinosaur toys didn’t disappoint either.

This T-Rex toy is one of my personal favorites.  It’s 3 feet long and can swallow action figures or other smaller dinosaurs.

This was a Christmas toy for my son and he absolutely loves it.  Comes with a variety of dinosaurs (velociraptor, pteranodon etc), but the king is, of course, the T-Rex that has the roaring sound effect and a pull trigger to bend its head and take a bite. 

Also comes with float plane, T-Rex skeleton fossil and a Tree Fort.

This T-Rex is a bit smaller than the one offered in the playset and it’s only slightly cheaper.  So for the extra few bucks I went with the playset which offered the best overall value.

LEGO always makes great toys and they recently launched a variety of dinosaur themed playsets as part of their Jurassic World line. 

The coolest ones are the by far the T-Rex sets. This LEGO Juniors set comes with LEGO T. Rex that measures over 4” (11cm) high, 11” (28cm) long and 2” (6cm) wide.  Also included are a small, “baby” dinosaur and a dinosaur egg.

Another T-Rex escape play set that was designed with older children in mind.  This one comes with lots of pieces, some of which are quite small so this wouldn’t be a good choice for kids under 7.
