Here are the Top 10 Best Cobi Tanks. If you’re looking to assemble a powerful tank army then here are the top 10 picks from Sharkmunch!
If you follow this blog then you know how much I love Cobi tanks so I could never just narrow down my top 10 Cobi tanks of all time…or could I? Maybe that will be a future post!
The tanks on this list are exclusively the Cobi German Tank Models. Why? I think you’ll agree that the Germans had a ton of cool tank designs with unique characteristics.
Please help me out by sharing this post on social media. We need to expand the Cobi fan base and military bricks more generally! The sooner we do this, the sooner we rule the world!!!

#1 Cobi Small Army SD. Kfz. 186 Jagdpanzer VI (Jagdtiger) Tank
What can I say, the Jagdtiger is a solid heavy duty tank destroyer that totally kicks butt. It has the firepower and the armor to survive just about anything, except those pesky Typhoon fighter bombers!
Check out my Cobi Jagdtiger review.
#2 Cobi Small Army Panzerkampfwagen IV (F1/G/H)
The Cobi Panzer IV is another essential tank for the hardcore fan. This tank was the backbone of World War 2 German armor and Cobi has done an excellent job with this model.
#3 Cobi Small Army PZKPFW VI Tiger II
The Cobi Tiger 2 is by far one of my favorites. This was the pinnacle of World War 2 tank design (sorry IS 3!).
Check out the Cobi Tiger 2 Review.
#4 Cobi Small Army SD. Kfz. 184 Panzerjäger Tiger
aka the Ferdinand or “Ferdi.” This behemoth was a monster at the Battle of Kursk with a 10:1 kill ratio. But the Russians always had an eleventh T-34! This is another solid tank destroyer by Cobi. It has a massive main gun and rolls super smooth on the carpet!
Check out the Cobi Ferdinand Review.
#5 Cobi Small Army Panzerjäger Tiger (Elefant) Tank
The Elefant tank was a modified Ferdi. Cobi did an excellent job with this one too. Tank tracks roll smoothly on the carpet and you can hear the screeching noise of the wheels and tracks…just like a real tank. I also like the camo pattern on this one.

#6 COBI The Tank Museum Collection Tiger 131 Sd.Kfz. 181 Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E
Tiger 131 is the most famous Tiger tank in the world. This is Cobi’s version of the actual real life Tiger 131 that resides in the Bovington Tank Museum. This tank served in the Afrika Corps and has the desert pattern tan camouflage.

#7 Cobi World of Tanks Tiger 1
The Cobi World of Tanks Tiger 1 (set 3000B) is by far my favorite Cobi Tiger 1 model ever. Tracks and wheels move smoothly across all surfaces and, yes they screech and sound like a real tank. The shape of the turret, the barrel, the overall look is super cool and is worth every penny!

#8 Cobi 2483 COBI Small Army Sd.Kfz. 162/1 Jagdpanzer IV/70(V)
This is one of the rarer Cobi sets and is worth the investment. A Jagdpanzer IV L70 was a fearsome tank destroyer. Built on the Panzer 4 hull and chassis this heavily armored tank destroyer had a gun from the notorious Panther Tank mounted in the superstructure.
Check out the Cobi Jagdpanzer IV L 70 Review.
#9 Cobi Historical Collection Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer Tank
The Hetzer was one of the coolest German tank designs of war. It had a super low profile which made it a superb tank killer in an ambush. Allied Sherman tanks met the Hetzer in the hedgerows of Normandy and it didn’t go well for them.
Check out the Cobi Hetzer Review.
#10 Cobi Historical Collection PZKPFW V Panther AUSF. A
What you didn’t think I was going to include the Panther Tank on this list!!! Yes coming in at #10 the Panther Tank. I love the sloping frontal armor on this tank. I also think the camo is pretty cool too. The tracks and wheels roll freely and squeak like a real tank. It’s a toss up between this tank and the Cobi T-34 for the best rolling Cobi tank ever!
