I always wanted to build Lego World War 2 sets and tanks as a kid but the major problem was the track system. For a while I had some rubber tracks but they weren’t big enough to build a cool looking tank.
Lego Technic tracks came in expensive sets and weren’t economical to build a few custom tanks.
Chinese block makers like Sluban, Kazi, Gudi, Xingbao and others fill this crucial void in the building block market.

German Messerschmitt Bf 109 Fighter
The German Messerschmitt Bf 109 Fighter (or ME 109) was an iconic World War 2 Fighter plane. This fighter was the backbone of the German Luftwaffe throughout the war and was feared among Allied Bomber crews over Europe. Nearly 34,000 were built during the course of the war.

The Sluban Messerschmitt Bf 109 set (M38 B0692) comes with 289 pieces and the price is right at about $15 USD.
The set includes 1 pilot mini figure. The aircraft measures 27.6 cm long. So it’s a pretty good size plane.

The Sluban Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter features a rotating propeller, twin machine guns on each wing, landing gear and a realistic engine. It also features a closed canopy that can be removed.
The ME 109 also has the iconic grey and yellow colours of the ME 109.
Overall Sluban did a superb job at designing the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter to look historically accurate.
