Welcome to my Quan Guan Panzer 38t Tank Review of set 100082. This is the off brand Lego German tank that I built and I’m impressed.
This set is a direct rip off from the Cobi Panzer 38t brick set but at about half the price.
A lot of people have questions about the quality and compatibility of Chinese Lego knock offs so I’ll be reviewing a bunch of these military Lego style sets.

I always wanted to build Lego tanks as a kid but the major problem was the track system. For a while I had some rubber tracks but they weren’t big enough to build a cool looking tank.
Lego Technic tracks came in expensive sets and weren’t economical to build a few custom tanks.
So I’m happy that block makers like Cobi, Sluban, Kazi, Gudi, Xingbao and others fill this crucial void in the building block market.

German Panzer 38t Tank
The German Panzer 38t Tank was a light tank built in Czechoslovakia before World War 2. When Germany took over Czechoslovakia in 1938 the German Army adopted the tank and continued to build it until about 1942.
The Panzer 38t saw action in the early years of WW2 in the invasion of Poland (1939), France and the Low Countries (1940) and the invasion of the Soviet Union (1941).
Quan Guan Panzer 38t Tank
This is a really cool set of the iconic German Tank.
The set comes with 535 pieces, 3 mini figures and lots of WW2 era German weapons including a heavy machine gun!
Quan Guan Panzer 38t Tank Features
Guys this tank is super cool and realistic looking. As with the other QG sets I reviewed I love the track system based on the Cobi design. The tracks move great and sound fantastic. They are smaller than the wider ones used in the heavier tank sets like the Tiger 131 and IS 2M. But they work just as well.
The turret fully rotates and the top hatch opens to place a commander or gunner.
The main gun is small just like the real life Panzer 38t main gun. The barrel fully raises and lowers.
There is also a custom mounted coax machine gun in the turret next to the main gun. I really like this and the gun is similar to the ones in other QG sets that I reviewed.
There is also a smaller machine gun mounted in the hull of the tank. Sadly, this is simply a Lego style antennae and not a custom molding of a machine gun. They should have included another custom MG!!!
The bricks are really great quality. I’d say not as good as LEGO but a cut above the Kazi bricks.
The set comes with 3 mini figures and the printing is exceptional. There’s no smudging on them.
Overall a great set and exceptional great value.
