Welcome to this Cobi Elefant Tank Review of set 2507.
This Cobi set is one of my personal favorites. I really like the Cobi quality and design of these historical tanks and World War 2 vehicles.
The Cobi Tank Track system is by far the very best that Ive seen so far. It works great on hard surfaces and on carpet. Dont believe me? Check out the demo in my You Tube Review below.

German Jagdpanzer Tiger Elefant
The Elefant (German for “elephant”) was a heavy Jagdpanzer (tank destroyer) used by German Wehrmacht Panzerjäger during World War II. Ninety-one units were built in 1943 under the name Ferdinand, after its designer Ferdinand Porsche, using tank hulls produced for the Tiger I tank design abandoned in favour of a Henschel design.
In January to April 1944, Ferdinands received modifications and upgrades. They were renamed Elefant in May 1944. The official German designation was Panzerjäger Tiger (P) and the ordnance inventory designation was Sd.Kfz. 184.
Cobi Elefant Tank
The Cobi Panzerjäger Tiger (Elefant) Tank set 2507 comes with 500 pieces and 2 Tank Museum mini figures.
Overall, this is a great set that is super cool and historically accurate.
Cobi Panzerjäger Tiger (Elefant) Tank Features
The Elefant tank has a few cool features. First, it has a massive main gun that moves up and down, but no side to side.
The top turret has 2 hatches that open and close and the mini figures can fit inside.
The engine compartment is at the front on this model. There are 2 engine hatches that open close (one on each side).
There are also 2 front hatches that open and close that can fit mini figures. One is a driver side hatch with small view port and the other is the gunner hatch with hull mounted machine gun.
At the back of the vehicle is another round hatch that opens and the entire back can be lifted up to reveal a small interior for the gun crew.
Of course the tracks roll great on hard surfaces and on carpet.
