Welcome to this Cobi M8 Greyhound Review of set 2497.
I recently started buying more US Army brick vehicles from the Cobi World War 2 collection. These include the M8 Greyhound, the Sherman Firefly, and the original M4 Sherman Tank.
Check out my Cobi Tiger 2 Tank Review and my Quan Guan Tiger 131 Tank Review for other awesome Brick tanks.

M8 Greyhound
The M8 Light Armored Car is a 6×6 armored car produced by the Ford Motor Company during World War II. It was used from 1943 by the United States and British troops in Europe and the Far East until the end of the war.
Cobi M8 Greyhound
The Cobi M8 Greyhound set comes with 370 pieces and 1 mini figure.
Cobi M8 Greyhound Features
This set has some pretty cool features.
First, the turret is an open top style with no hatches. It fully rotates 360 degrees, the main gun moves up and down and there is a .30 Cal machine gun mounted.
At the front, there are 2 square hatches that open and close where mini figures can fit. But it’s not as roomy as on the tanks.
At the rear, 2 large rectangular hatches open to reveal the engine.
This set has 6 large wheels with rubber over plastic rims. The rubber has actual treads.
There is lots of cool printed pieces and no stickers!
Overall, this is a solid brick model of the iconic M8 Greyhound armored scout car.
