Welcome to this Cobi Sherman Firefly Tank Review of set 2515.
I recently started buying more US Army vehicles from the Cobi World War 2 collection. These include the M8 Greyhound, the Sherman Firefly, and the original M4 Sherman Tank.
The unique Cobi tank track system as well as their cool and historically accurate designs make these really great functional toys and collector items.

M4 Sherman Firefly Tank
Sherman Firefly is a British modification of the American Medium tank M4 Sherman from the second world War. In 1942-1945, according to the lend-lease agreement, the United States transported about 17, 000 medium tanks M4 Sherman to great Britain. Many vehicles have been modified by the British through adding a radio station, reinforcing the armor, replacing the engine or finally installing a stronger 17-pound cannon, which allowed to fight modern German tanks.
Cobi M4 Sherman Firefly
The Cobi M4 Sherman Firefly set 2515 comes with 500 pieces and 2 mini figures.
Cobi M4 Sherman Firefly Features
This tank has lots of cool features.
First, the turret fully rotates 360 degrees. On top of the turret a hatch opens and a mini figure fits inside.
At the front of the hull there are 2 square hatches that open and close and mini figures can be placed in the hatches. At the rear there is an engine hatch that opens to reveal the engine.
The tank tracks are the thinner Cobi tracks. While not as good as the traditional Cobi medium tank tracks, they still work well.
Overall an excellent realistic brick tank model of the iconic Sherman Firefly tank.
